FAQ
THE DROPS
1. What does "made to order" mean — and why isn't it just in stock?
NYXA runs in limited, numbered drops. When you order, your set is put into production rather than pulled off a shelf — and your order is charged at checkout, because it funds the small run that builds your piece. It keeps every run small, intentional, and engineered to spec — no overstock, no landfill, no compromise on the build. Your ship-by date is shown before you pay, and nothing leaves until it's built. You're not buying off a rack. You're commissioning a piece — and claiming a number.
2. How long until my made-to-order set ships? (Lead time)
Made-to-order pieces ship by [SHIP-BY DATE] — the date is stated on the product page and in your confirmation email before you pay. Once your set ships you'll get tracking. The wait is exclusivity, not delay: this is the time it takes to build it right.
3. What's a "drop" and how do I get in?
A drop is a timed release — it opens at 00:00 (midnight) and runs in limited quantity until it's gone. Waitlist members get early access before the public. Join the waitlist to get the 00:00 alert.
4. How do I join the waitlist / get notified?
Tap "Notify me" on any sold-out or upcoming piece, or enter your email in the "Enter 00:00" signup on the home page. You'll get early access to the next drop plus a first-drop perk. We don't spam — mostly we tell you when the clock hits 00:00.
5. Will sold-out sets come back?
Some return as a limited restock; some stay gone (that's the point of a numbered drop). Join the waitlist on the product page and we'll alert you if it comes back or if a successor piece drops.
SHIPPING
6. How much is shipping, and where do you ship?
Free worldwide shipping on every order. We ship from our studio and via our production partner; you'll get tracking when your order leaves.
7. When will my order arrive?
- In-stock pieces: dispatched within 1–2 business days; delivery time depends on your country/carrier (you'll see tracking).
- Made-to-order / pre-order pieces: ship by [SHIP-BY DATE], then transit time on top. The ship-by date is shown before you pay.
For full details see the Shipping Policy.
8. Do I pay customs or import duties?
Possibly, depending on your country. International orders may incur import duties or taxes set by your local customs authority; these are the customer's responsibility and aren't included at checkout. US orders: no surprise duties.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
9. What's your return policy?
14-day returns — made for you, numbered to you. Every NYXA piece is cut to order in small, numbered runs, so we keep the window focused: try it on the moment it lands, and if it's not you, send it back within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange — unworn, tags on. Short window, on purpose: it's how a small-batch studio stays small-batch. See the Refund & Returns Policy for the full terms.
10. How do exchanges work (e.g. wrong size)?
Email hello@projectnyxa.com within 14 days with your order number and the size you need. Subject to the return conditions above and availability — made-to-order sizes may require a short production wait. We'll sort it.
11. Who pays return shipping?
The customer covers return shipping unless the item arrived faulty or incorrect, in which case we cover it and make it right. Original shipping (free) isn't re-charged.
12. Are limited drops final sale?
No — numbered drop pieces follow the standard 14-day returns policy. Try it on as soon as it lands; if it's not you, send it back within 14 days, unworn with tags on.
FIT & CARE
13. How do I choose my size?
Each product page has a size guide built from sample measurements. The cut is engineered and structured (heavy stretch) — if you're between sizes or want more coverage, size up. Still unsure? Email us your measurements and we'll point you to the right size.
14. How do I care for my NYXA piece so it survives?
Built to last — treat it right and it will. Recommended care:
- Cold machine wash, inside out, with like colors (gentle/delicates cycle).
- Do not bleach. Bleach kills color and fabric integrity.
- Hang dry — skip the tumble dryer to protect the stretch, structure, and any print/patch.
- Do not iron directly over prints, patches, or hardware.
- Fasten belts/straps before washing so they don't snag.
Full care is on your garment label. Wear what survives.
15. What's the fabric? Is it heavy?
Drop 01 is mostly heavyweight washed cotton. The Burgundy Cargo Set (hero) is a 260 GSM Cotton / Polyester / Spandex blend; the Maroon Cargo-Jogger Set is 100% cotton, acid-washed — a 280 GSM cargo jogger + a 220 GSM tank (the hero's cotton sibling); and the Acid-Wash Tank gateway is that same 220 GSM cotton, sold solo. The Grey Panel Set is the one deliberate outlier — a 225 GSM Nylon / Spandex technical rib, a body-skimming hand engineered to the same standard. Most festival fast-fashion is a fraction of these weights. Heavy fabric, cargo panels, thick stretch: it holds its shape and holds you.
THE BRAND
16. What do "Ξ" and "00:00" mean?
Ξ is the last letter of ΝΥΞ (Nyx, the Greek goddess of Night) — our mark; the red bar through it is the strike-bar. 00:00 is midnight: our drop time, our signature, and the hour the world stops watching and she clocks in. You'll see both everywhere — it's the brand's heartbeat.
17. Where is NYXA made? Who makes it?
Engineered in Sialkot, Pakistan, by athletic-gear specialists — factories that build high-stress professional sporting goods. The construction (heavy fabric, cargo panels, real belts) needs the same heavy-duty stitching as pro sports equipment. Engineered by the right hands. Engineered, not sewn.
18. Is NYXA swimwear, streetwear, or what?
Neither — and that's deliberate. It's Tactical Street-Luxe: the skin-baring silhouette of summerwear with the structural function of tactical gear. Built for the night — warehouse, festival, club, the 2am street. (We don't sell swimwear.)
